I used to be an environmental-laboratory data geek in Bothell, but I left that job in October 2006 and became a member of the Borg in December 2006. I made my way to the Seattle area in 2002 from Salt Lake City, where I grew up. I moved to Glendale, AZ, in 2004 to follow a job opportunity that didn’t pan out, so I was back in Salt Lake from June 2004 to January 2005 when the lab where I’d worked from 2002 to early 2004 invited me back to handle their electronic-data needs, and now I’m here permanently. Or about as permanently as anything ever gets in this day and age.
I left the lab in late 2006 and now I work in web publishing for a certain relatively obscure software company based in Redmond.
